SCOPE: Involved a 65,000 SF occupied, phase renovation requiring 9 phases and 600 individual relocations of employee workspaces. The existing regional office was transformed into a new corporate headquarters for the international telecommunications company. Along with a new Entrance Lobby and Executive Management Offices with a new Board Room, the open office design concept was adopted for the majority of the workspace.

BIGGEST CHALLENGE: Performing extensive phased renovations in a heavily occupied interactive business environment without disrupting the vital functions of the Worldwide Headquarters. The logistical challenges were elevated when, a) substantial design modifications were required and b) restrictions in available workspaces were encountered which disrupted the original 4 phase plan.

SOLUTION: Roundhill adapted the phasing and logistics plan based on what work areas and design information were available and marshaled the trade work and inspections to maintain the overall completion duration of 15 weeks with work being performed in 9 separate phases.
